The all composite constructed Joint Warfighter Shelter Of the Future is a next generation surgical rigid wall shelter that conforms to 20’ ISO shipping container specifications.
This shelter features advanced composite technology and construction that allows this unit to expand its walls, floors and roofs on a as needed basis in the field. Lighter but stronger than legacy aluminum built shelters, the JWSOF is constructed of carbon fiber fabric and a foam core composite formed through a multi-side fusion manufacturing process. With an enhanced insulation R- value of 8-9, this shelter can be airconditioned and heated allowing our surgical personnel to perform their life saving jobs at optimum levels of comfort and efficiency.
The Hybrid Retrofit Kit For The US Army Standard Shelters

We are helping the US Army to build a bridge to a better future of advanced composite construction for all of their shelters. This effort includes our Hybrid Retrofit Kit For US Army Standard Rigid Walled Shelters. This program consists of installing our Rigid Walled Shelter Retrofit And Modification Kits to over 100 aging legacy aluminum structures. These kits allow for longer operational lifetimes for these units and include stronger fixed and expandable floor assemblies, all manufactured with lightweight advanced composite materials.
These modified structures are being integrated at Hill Air Force base in Utah and will allow for increased floor strength and substantial savings in maintenance costs for the US Army.
ELECTRONIC MAINTENANCE COMPLEX EXPANDABLE WALL SHELTER (EMC)10' 1-SIDE EXPANDABLE US MARINE CORP SHELTER [EMC]
The team here at Tactical Composites has worked closely with the US Marine Corps to develop an Electronic Maintenance Complex Expandable Wall Shelter (EMC) for use in their communications electronics equipment since 2017. This shelter utilizes advanced composite materials that allows the walls of the structure to be fixed or expanded to fit the mission. The shelter meets all ASTM E1925 requirements and specifications.

Continued development of this highly functional structure has allowed us to manufacture a shelter that leads the way in providing a safe and secure environment for the maintenance of the Corps sensitive electronics equipment. This products evolution includes enhanced sub systems for electrical distribution, lighting, HVAC/ventilation and internal appointment modules.
