When ports are inaccessible, infrastructure is compromised, and personnel face unacceptable risk, logistics become one of the greatest operational challenges. The SHARC (Small High-Speed Amphibious Role-Variant Craft) was developed to solve that problem.
Designed as a mission-flexible autonomous landing craft, SHARC delivers critical supplies—including food, water, fuel, munitions, equipment, and autonomous systems—to contested shorelines and austere environments where traditional vessels cannot reliably operate. Its modular architecture allows the platform to evolve alongside rapidly changing operational requirements, making it equally suited for today’s missions and tomorrow’s technologies.

MISSION FLEXIBILITY
The SHARC is more than an autonomous cargo vessel. Its adaptable design supports a wide range of military and government missions, including:
• Autonomous logistics and resupply
• Launch, recovery, and charging of autonomous underwater and aerial systems
• Casualty evacuation
• Distributed operations alongside autonomous surface, air, and underwater vehicles
• Expeditionary operations in denied or infrastructure-limited environments
An open autonomy architecture enables integration with a broad range of perception and navigation technologies—including radar, sonar, GPS, cameras, and other sensor suites—while remaining compatible with evolving autonomous control systems.
ENGINEERED FOR RAPID DEPLOYMENT
Operational readiness extends beyond the water. SHARC's dimensions allow it to be transported over the road on standard low-boy trailers without requiring oversize permits, dramatically simplifying deployment and reducing response time wherever missions arise.
BUILT TO PERFORM
Every aspect of SHARC has been engineered for strength, durability, and payload capacity.
The hull is vacuum infused using advanced composite manufacturing techniques with U.S. Coast Guard-approved fire-retardant vinyl ester resin and foam-core construction for exceptional strength-to-weight performance. A carbon-fiber reinforced deck provides multiple configurable tie-down locations and alloy rail protection for tracked vehicles and heavy cargo. The automated bow ramp is engineered to safely support the vessel's full 14,000-pound payload, even under demanding cantilevered loading conditions.
A Scalable PlatformFROM DEFENSE TO COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS
THE SHARC is designed as a family of autonomous vessels rather than a single product. Its modular construction supports future increases in payload capacity, autonomy systems, and mission equipment without redesigning the platform. Larger variants are already in development using the same manufacturing philosophy, allowing operators to scale capabilities while maintaining commonality across fleets.
While the SHARC was developed to address the future needs of military logistics, its capabilities extend well beyond defense applications. The platform is well suited for offshore energy support, wind farm servicing, remote island logistics, emergency response, disaster relief, and autonomous personnel or cargo transport in challenging maritime environments.
With production already underway and additional vessels scheduled for delivery, SHARC represents a new generation of autonomous maritime logistics—bringing resilient, scalable, and mission-ready capability to operators wherever conventional infrastructure ends.
